Certainly, the April polls promises to be a major acid test for democratic institution in the country, since a violence-free exercise will further fortify the foundation of the process. Going by the desire of politicians to engage in "do or die," politics in the face of the rising unemployment rate in the country, where most idle youths take to crime, I can say that the elections will, no doubt, be immensely crucial to the continued peace, oneness and stability of Nigeria as a corporate entity.
