The Broken Globe
If I'm not wrong, i think there is a greater chance of getting a heart attack from watching the news than from any other causal factor. There is a shaking in the world, and i make reference not just to the economic intricacies or political frame, but even spheres such as the sociocultural, and geographical, pillars of the world- with the institution of certain unhealthy rights all in the name of "freedom". Personally, i would see it to be a scenario where there are more mentally demented people on the streets, in leadership positions, than there are in hospitals, mental homes, and rehabilitation centers. I have come to see and understand that there is a balance in the world- which is to say that you cannot disassociate economic and financial stability from political stability, sociocultural stability, geographical stability, or any other variations. That is why the value system has been seen to have as much effect on the development of any nation as economic policies, foreign aid, and all worth not. The way i see it, that balance has been tipped, and as much as the world would love to see it as a totally economic issue, i dare to say that i refuse to subscribe to such narrow mindedness and premeditated self-inflicted blindness.

Lets look at the probable future effect of the institution of Gay marriage for example. imagine that the "gospel" continues to spread, and just a hypothetical 60% of the world's married population consists of same sex marriages. What would happen to procreation?!! from the looks of it, in the long-run there would be no babies for them to adopt anymore, and then the world would just have to resort to artificial insemination and other "options" to ensure the survival of the human race . Of course this would have educational implications, as academic curricula would have to be completely overhauled so that your child get to be thought that the basic unit of the society doesn't consist of the Father, Mother, and Children but something that would go this way- " Trishia has two fathers" or "Chioma has two grandmothers". Then you would have to explain to the child. the child then grows up to believe that certain improper thoughts and conceptions aren't a sign of insanity and inappropriateness. which is the only reason why a supposed human would give birth and throw the child into the dustbin to be fed upon by ants, or a national leader hold a whole nation down for personal gains. Now, the word "wrong" begins to disappear under the misguided interpretation of the word "freedom"...A word that has become the albatross of the capitalist world.

How much more illegality, dysfunction, and structural sabotage can our world take? ...the needed change starts with you and I.
