The Nigerian Embassy in Athens
I am still overwhelmed and gladden by the news that the Nigerian Government retaliated ob the South African issue by deporting 135 of their citizens. This is a welcome development at least for Nigerians like us outside the shores of Naija having to suffer one humiliation to another because we are blacks and most expecially Nigerians. I am confident and optimistic that with these news, other governments would be cautious in deporting Nigerians from their respective countries.
Also, we are duly under-represented by our foreign missions abroad, they simply do not care about our affairs especially in Greece. Imagine a situation where we are charged as much as 500Euros to get our passport issued by our Embassy. The news by the jonathan administration to newly appointed ambassadors charging them to be effective in the representation of Nigerians in their country of mission.
I strongly recommend that our government should caution the Nigerian Embassy in Athens Greece because it is totally in shambles.
God help us in Greece.
