I quite appreciate your level of exposure and intellectual sagacity. But I must say that am sensing some elements of digression from the subject matter. Let us restrain ourselves from majoring on minor issues and minoring on major issues. I beg to rather look inwards for the solution of the problems plaguing this entity. The present day federal government seems to be overwhelmed with political and economic turmoils, despite huge policies developed in every sector to manage the economy: insurgency in the north, crude oil price drop, continuous devaluation of the Naira, unnecessary rising political tensions all over the country, just to mention a few. Why can' t we just tell ourselves the truth for once: this phantasmagoric marriage between the north and south was not in the best interest of the people. It was rather a business transaction initiated by a businessman, Lord Luggard. Why do we keep blaming the man that joined us as if it is absolutely impossible for us to break from this monumental and cruel conjugation. Your morning only comes when you wake up. The earlier you wake up, the better for you. We must learn to take our destinies in our own hands. The time to act is now!

The missing plane ke? surely that question is well directed. What do we know? hmmm agun ' la, agun tete! Nigeria should never be in the first place. Will be nice to remove the name as breaking the chains of bondage. the name is just a capitalized incorporated word, Federal Republic of Nigeria Limited. An extension of a man no longer responsible for his actions. instead the company Nigeria becomes collectively responsible. The man? all boy scouts should read @Pako' s lines. I don' t think a southerner can understand the needs of those in Maiduguri, nor can the person in Anambra be responsible for caring for 5 million people in Bauchi. So Naija don' t need no central government that we cant manage. Forget naija, but as we are brothers and sisters that make up extended families and societies, we need not come apart. Just agreeing with @Pako that what we need is a new system of governing and eradicating poverty. If all pay ta to a government, what is it for? If we allow a group of people to be responsible to trade the minerals of the land in our name, what should we get back from it? A government of leader needs to provide the basic necessities of life freely for the dependants. this is what a mother and father do for the kids.

Every time I meet new people in my country, the first question they asked telling them my name is where are you from? Some of them who are from the same state with me, will still go ahead to ask " which part of the state are you from?" That shows how sentimental and tribalistic we are in this region of the world. Everyone is more concerned about their their indigenship than their citizenship. The earlier we come to terms with the realities on ground, the better for us. I reaffirm my position; we can be better politically, economically, socially, religiously, and otherwise if we face summon courage and divide this entity. Divided we stand!
