While contesting in the MTN Project Fame West Africa three years ago, Anis Halloway gained prominence amongst his counterparts as he often displayed a certain level of charm whenever he was performing. The Sierra Leonean born singer eventually finished in the top ten.

Fast forward to the present, Anis who now co-hosts the reality TV show Nigerian Idol, is going back to his first love �?" music.

On �??We nor want dat�??, Anis using patios lingo sorrowfully describes his personal experience in the 1999 Civil war that took place in his homeland Sierra Leone. A mild start on a subtle beat with gentle guitar strokes, the high point of the song is the chorus as Anis finds it difficult to blend his verses although he delivers his message.

�??Tell me�?? which takes a sample from Tracy Chapman�??s �??Fast Car�?? has an alternative feel to it. With pronounced guitar chord sounds, Anis easily balances his voice delivery with his breath control.

Both songs carry stories that would not pass a good listening ear, this is Anis�?? strongest point.
