After the success of his Six8Ten EP last year and his long list of production credits, he begins 2011 with a brand new EP titled “AfroFunkyDiscoSoul”. The album released on the Knighthouse label, explores the fusion of different genres of sound with selected African rhythms and features quite an eclectic collection of artists. The EP is set to drop at the end of March 2011 and as a foretaste, he has put out 2 singles off the EP. The 1st track entitled ‘Sumo Mi’ features MTV Base 2010 ‘Brand New’ award winner, Channel O ‘Best African Female’ 2010 and Naija’s very own Princess of Pop, Mo’Cheddah (who is set to kick off her West African tour in a few months) in collaboration with new Ghanian Hip-hop sensation Trigmatic. (who has been nominated for 7 awards at the upcoming Ghana Music Awards). The 2nd track ‘Kami’ features Naija’s freshboi, Teeto-Cmos and the underground culture queen, Iye. With AfroFunkyDiscoSoul, Dj Klem takes his art to the next level. Watch out for more albums from Knighthouse this year including the “Live@51″ mixtape featuring Mo’Cheddah and the all new Knighthouse signees WillyBang and Phenom. Also in the works is a new Mo’Cheddah ‘Franchise Celebrity’ music project. Expect Dj Klem’s album “Afrotonik” out in the 2nd quarter of 2012. DJ Klem – Sumo Mi ft.
