My analysis on Kel is simple – She knows she does not possess the lyrical ability or deep musical composition so she opts for the best deal, her feminine side. Throw in an audible voice, sexy tone and appealing image brand; you’ve got Kel. ‘Shayo‘ is a simple bass thumping number which is built around the instrumental supplied by on-the-rise singer/producer Samklef. Kel’s delivery has improved as her breath control is managed well and passes her message sufficiently. Young singer Shady (who sounds very much like Wizkid) handles the hook beautifully.
