He currently lives in Lagos Nigeria. Grew up in mile 2 and later relocated to Meiran (same hood as late Dagrin) with his family where he nurtured his rap and production skills and has worked for top heads in the game. He fell in love with rap at a very young age. Wrote his first lyrics at the age of 13. Officially became a rapper in 2005 after being greatly influenced by American multi-platinum selling rapper Lil Wayne’s “tha carter” album released in 2004. He co-founded a rap group with longtime friend “flow” who is currently label mate in 2007. The duo were offered a record deal in 2008 but turned the offer down. He later joined Bigtyme Entertainment (One Of The Top Leading Labels in Nigeria) in 2010 as the second artiste signed to the label and was nicknamed “ The Bigtyme Militia”. Dat-boi is a versatile rapper and producer who like pushing himself to the limit and he proved this by dropping his hit single “Bai Bai” which means Right now. The joint is a fusion of dance hall and rap and Djs and fans can’t seem to get enough of this club banger. To further prove himself as a rapper, he remixed his idol lilwayne’s song Gossip. He is currently working on his 13 tracker Album titled “A.T.M” (After The Money) which will be released soonest...
