Born in Manchester, England to Nigerian parents, Ezi has had a passion for music for as long as she can remember and has been singing from a very tender age. As an early teen, Ezi formed a group with her sister and at the age of 16, she took things up a notch by getting involved with her local Church choir where she continued to hone her singing skills further.
In 2009, Ezi moved away from her home in Manchester to London to begin her modelling career which has seen her model for campaigns for the likes of Chanel, GAP, London Fashion Week, Arise Magazine Fashion Week (Nigeria) and many more.
Nonetheless music is and has always been Ezi’s passion and she takes pride in her abilities as an artist. Ezi is ready to take the African music landscape by storm with her unique style and vocal talent.
Ezi has started received rave reviews for her performances alongside African music legend 2Face, Chocolate City, Waje and Tiwa Savage among others definitely one to watch out for in the coming months.
Ezi Emela has recently released debut single “Catch My Heart” – featuring UK Afrobeats artistes Mista Silva and Skob – and its accompanying music video as directed by burgeoning director Mr. Moe Musa.
