If Only / Myst

Myst is a Nigerian singer/songwriter who began as a member of a neighbourhood church choir at the age of 7 and has since developed into a passionate singer in a class all her own. Her voice is husky and soulful and her music, lyrics, melodies and harmonies come out in a way as unique to her as the voice with which they are delivered.
Her name was derived by the admirers of her anonymous features on records in the early 2000s. She has written for several artists and featured on songs with the likes of Sasha, Naeto C, Beazy, Hakym The Dream, Blackmagic, Lynxxx and Lami amongst others. She was also selected to represent Nigeria in the making of Oh Africa, Pepsi’s 2010 world cup theme song, alongside Akon, Keri Hilson and Rockcity.
The vocalist has been on a sabbatical, choosing to attend to the demands and needs of family life, but has now finally made her eagerly awaited return starting with the release of her first single in three years, “If Only” produced by Dokta Frabz. It can definitely be said at this point that 2014 is The Year of The Myst.
