Her love for music dates back to her childhood when all she wanted to do was sing. She learnt to play the piano and guitar all by herself and has had professional violin lessons. She is an Alternative afro-soul artist. Born to a Christian family of 6, the first child of 4 children, a graduate of mass Communication Journalism and Media Integration. She enjoys performing and traveling. Duwas debut single ‘Count On Me’ produced by Chordratic Beats is already making it’s rounds on the radio after a successful week of radio premiers. ‘Count On Me’ is just the first among other songs Duwa is releasing this year and it’s in a class of its own. ‘Count on Me’ is a song written in the words of a Spouse affirming the partner of unwavering love and loyalty which is a rear virtue in this generation.
