Yeah it's nelo ´´Hello´´45Yrs male from malaga, Spain NELSON’S PROFILE A.K.A (NELOWITDDEMO) BY: Ovie Akpovwa Nelson Oghenevwere Akpovwa, Rap musician and basketball player was born on January 26th 1979 in his home town of Eku in Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State, Nigeria. He is the eight child and fourth son of Chief Zack E. O. Akpovwa and his wife Mrs Christiana Akpovwa. His father was a professional sales man with Edewor pharmaceuticals in Effurun and a politician while his mother is a business woman. Known to his friends simply as Nelly, Mr. Akpovwa spent his early childhood in Warri, Delta State where his parents lives. He attended ITU primary school before going to the famous Peace secondary school in warri for his ordinary levels. As a child, Nelson had always wanted to be a banker as well as a professional basketball player who had a great passion for RAP music. As he grew up he never played with his practice of the game and never missed his music rehearsals with his friends. He was studying Banking & Finance at Edo State University Ekpoma, Edo State before he left Nigeria for Spain in 2000. On arriving Spain he he went further to pursue his basketball career by joining Adesal basketball club in Malaga but left when he sustained a knee injury and decided to go full time into RAP music. In 2005 he came out with the name nelowitddemo and recorded his first demo LAST MAN STANDING which tells the tale of how he & friends lived and survived the hard times of life and was the last man standing from a tragedy that occurred amongst friends that were struggling to survive at that time in Spain with him. The demo consists of tracks sang in English as well as some Spanish mixed ones Before he left for Spain he recorded some tracks with is friends back home in Nigeria in the 90`s but did not get to release it due to lack of funds and sponsors. Nelo, since 2005 has done a couple of shows with some Nigerian and Spanish artist such as 2 Face Idibia ,Fresh, Idris abdul kareem, Timaya of Nigeria and lots more. His role models are 2pac,50 cents and Bone thugs’ n harmony because his obsession with their music made him go full time into music. So far some of his tracks are Fake friends, Last Man standing. He his presently working on his new single WAZ PATIENTLY WAITING for his forthcoming album featuring 2Face Idibia and more. Stay with him. |
